2. Application for New Membership (Currently Open)
This form should be used for an initial application for memerbship of Kingsmoor Anglers. Please note that the club operates a waiting list system so immediate membership is not guaranteed. If you are wait-listed, you will be informed by letter or email.
A Proposer and seconder is prefferred and applicants who have been proposed and seconded by existing members will be given priority.

Kingsmoor Anglers Ltd (the company) is the data controller for the purposes of GDPR and the Membership Secretary has been nominated as the contact person for any issues/questions that members may have about their personal data. The contact details for the Membership Secretary are available on the Annual Newsletter and all Membership renewal forms. Contact with regard any GDPR issues should be in writing.
We process personal data necessary to administer our membership records and to provide services and benefits to members as a recreational angling club.
Personal data is kept and processed for no longer than two years of each submission, after which the data is destroyed.
The categories of personal data we process are Name, Address and Age along with appropriate financial data (fees paid) and any photographic material that members may submit to the club.
Personal data is kept solely within the club and is NOT shared with any external organisation. It is kept secure at the registered office of the company.
On the completion of your personal data on a membership application form which is submitted to the club, you will be asked to confirm your consent for the club to process the data as described above.
All members have rights under the data protection act which are as follows:-
•The right to see the personal data and be provided with a copy
•The right to have your personal data erased after initial processing to produce a membership card. (Please note that this would mean you would not receive automatic renewal notice in the following year)
•The right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your data. (please note that under such circumstance, the club may not be able to process your membership)
Kingsmoor Anglers also has a Facebook Page. Any member submitting data to this page is by default consenting to that data being used and seen on the Facebook Page.
